The Adventure Centre, Kelly College, is an independent Outdoor Development Centre set in 10 acres of land. Kelly Enterprises run the Centre alongside Parkwood Management Centre. In close proximity to the Centre there can be found rivers, climbing crags, sheltered quarry lakes, orienteering courses, high ropes courses and Dartmoor National Park. The Adventure Centre also holds the lease to Nuns Cross Farm in the heart of Dartmoor.
We offer a wide range of courses for groups of all age ranges and ability levels. From School Group Residentials to Management Training Courses.
We also are fast becoming the National Training Centre for Outdoor Instructors with our popular Intensive Outdoor Skills Course for those students over 18 or our Foundation Instructor Course for 16/17 year olds.
All our programmes also offer fantastic opportunities for staff development.
We aim to set new standards for Outdoor Education Centres with our quality facilities, spectacular location and easy access to challenging outdoor activity bases. We are based on the Western edge of Dartmoor in the ancient Stannary town of Tavistock, with easy access to the cities of Plymouth and Exeter.
