A group of Kelly athletes recently competed at the South West Regonal Biathlon Championships. Four of those attending successfully qualified for the British Modern Biathlon Championships to be held on Sunday 4th July 2010 at Wavertree Sports Park, Liverpool.
 
The Kelly athletes put in top class perfomances with a very high precentage of those Kelly athletes attending gaining qualification to the British Championships. Racing across different distances, depending on their age groups, all the Kelly athletes placed in the Top Ten of their own age groups. Outstanding results all round.
 
The Kelly athletes results were as follows:
 
 
Vicky Black: 3.03.15 (200m swim) and 8.45 (2000m run) - 8th place in age group
Ellen Riss White: 2.31.90 (200m swim) and 7.24.00 (2000m run) - 4th place in age group
Matt Courtiss: 2.11.73 (200m swim) and 7.40 (2000m run) - 8th in age group
Vicky Callow: 1.11.59 (100m swim) and 3.46 (1000m run) - 10th place in age group
Josh Boon: 1.09.63 (100m swim) and 3.33.00 (1000m run) - 4th in age group
Nathan Linden: 37.50 (50m m swim) and 4.06.00 (1000m run) - 6th in age group
  
In addition, Nathan Linden (Kelly Prep Sschool), Vicky Callow, Ellen Riis White and Josh Boon all qualified for the British Modern Biathlon Championships.
